Welcome to Waypoints by Sandboxx, accessible via the mobile app and at waypointsapp.us (the “​Service​”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Definitions

  • Service: The Waypoints mobile app, website, and backend services.

  • User, you, your: Anyone accessing the Service.

  • Content: Any data you upload or generate via Waypoints (e.g., fitness scores, ribbons, career details).

  • Pro Features: Paid components accessed via subscription or in-app purchase.

2. Eligibility & Account Setup

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older as required by your jurisdiction.

  • You must use a truthful identity and maintain accurate account info.

  • You’re responsible for all account activity. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. License Grant

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

4. User Obligations & Acceptable Use

Do not:

  • Reverse-engineer or misuse the Service.

  • Use bots or scrape data without permission.

  • Impersonate others or post unlawful content.

  • Violate laws or third‑party rights.

5. User Content & Rights

  • You own your Content, and grant us a license to use it to deliver and improve Waypoints (e.g., personalized dashboards).

  • We reserve the right to remove or modify Content that violates policy or is harmful.

  • We respect copyright and comply with the DMCA ([source template clause] ).

6. Pro Features & In-App Purchases

  • Some features require a subscription or one-time payment (“Pro Features”).

  • Charges renew automatically per billing cycle and are processed by the App Store / Google Play—subject to their payment terms .

  • You may cancel anytime via your platform’s subscription settings; price changes will be communicated in advance.

7. Third‑Parties & Integrations

  • We integrate with Apple Health, sandboxed budget/finance APIs, etc.—these are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Privacy

  • Use of the Service means you agree to our Privacy Policy which explains how we collect and process your data.

  • We collect personal data to enable core features (e.g., fitness history, career tracking); we don’t sell your data to third parties.

9. Disclaimers & Warranties

  • The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available”, without warranty.

  • We do not guarantee:

    • Accuracy of military or financial data

    • Errors won’t occur or interruptions won’t happen

    • Any specific fitness or career outcome

  • Your usage is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost data or opportunity.

  • Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you made no payments).

11. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations or misuse.

  • You may delete your account via in-app or by contacting support; subscription termination is controlled through your billing provider.

12. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms. We’ll notify you via email or in-app. Continued use after notice implies your acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Virginia without conflict-of-law rules.

  • Disputes not resolved amicably will go to state or federal court in Virginia.

14. Miscellaneous

  • These Terms (plus Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement; they override prior understandings.

  • If any provision is invalid, the rest remain effective.

  • You may not assign or transfer your rights without our express consent.
